IMPORTANT Your digital files should be correctly prepared and sized in a suitable image editing program such as Adobe Photoshop or GIMP before ordering. We will output your files at the dimensions that you enter on this screen. It's your responsibility to ensure that supplied files are at the correct aspect ratio otherwise image cropping/distortion will occur.

IMAGE ASPECT RATIO IS THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE WIDTH AND HEIGHT

The aspect ratio of your uploaded image must match the aspect ratio for the print size that you order

ensure that your image aspect ratio is correct

For example, if you upload a square image but order a print at A4 then the printed image will be cropped/distorted.

Where the aspect ratio of the supplied digital image file does not match the aspect ratio of the print dimensions ordered printing will be at our discretion. This usually means prints will be supplied based on your file/s native size.

If you are unsure about any of this then please upload your digital files via our FILE UPLOAD WEB PAGE and request that we check your files. We will advise on options before you place an order.

IMAGE OPTIMISATION SERVICE

  1. If you have correctly colour managed and adjusted your files to be print-ready then select the "Print as supplied" option.
  2. If you would like us to check your file/s and make adjustments then select the option "Yes".
As we do not have sight of your original artwork this is performed at our discretion, generally it means aiming for a neutral colour balance and global changes to brightness and contrast.

Please note:

  • File optimisation is currently a free service.
  • The default is "Print as supplied" and so if you do not select an option your files will be assumed to be "Print-Ready".
