Print-ready files must be supplied for output at the size requested.

  • Supplied digital files are examined prior to print production, if any resolution issues are detected then we will contact you.
    However to avoid order delays please ensure that supplied files are correctly set-up per our published specifications.

FILE UPLOAD SPECIFICATIONS

  1. Correct aspect ratio
  2. Colour managed, sRGB or Adobe RGB (1998) embedded colour space
  3. File formats: JPG, PNG, TIFF (flat no layers)
  4. File size set at output size, between 240dpi – 300dpi
  5. No CMYK or PDF files

Image Aspect Ratio

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PICTURE WIDTH AND HEIGHT

The aspect ratio of your uploaded image must match the aspect ratio for the print size that you order

For example, if you upload a square image but order a print at A4 then the printed image will be cropped/distorted.

Where the aspect ratio of the supplied digital image file does not match the aspect ratio of the print dimensions ordered printing will be at our discretion. This usually means prints will be supplied based on your file/s native size.

If you are unsure about any of this then please upload your digital files via our FILE TRANSFER PAGE and request that we check your files. We will advise on options before you place an order.
